Very spacious warm place in not so crowded location. They even had a gluten free cookie option. All tables were taken inside so we sat outside. The meter parking is right in front of the cafe and we got lucky and got the best spot.

Great coffee, friendly, knowledgeable staff, welcoming atmosphere! Excited to try more of their menu. I had the brevé latte and it was delicious.

One of the best iced lattes I've ever had! Disappointed I was just in town for a concert. I got a M Iced Sugar-Free Vanilla Latte with Oat and Cold Foam which was surprisingly delicious (I first doubted due to the SF). Sausage egg cheese fritata bagel was amazing too! Everything is made very quickly. Boyfriend said the cold brew was the best he's had in a while too. Not too busy on a late Friday morning.

Another fantastic spot in Urbana Champaign! I understand the charm of a spacious, chill, calm cafe in a college town. I remember my days in a cafe with nerdy Compter science books. This cafe brought back memories. Tons of students just chilling/studying. The atmosphere was very laid back. The coffee was great. We were about to hit the road to get back to KC, so I picked up a Cortado and a dark roast drip coffee as my roadie. The Cortado was fantastic! So much so that I asked what beans they used and picked up a bag to bring back! The baristas were cool and it just added to the vibe. Overall, a fantastic cafe with great location/access.

Mad Goat Coffee is hands down the best coffee spot in Champaign-Urbana! Their coffee is outstanding—rich, flavorful, and perfectly roasted. My go-to is the Route One espresso, but they offer so many different bean options to choose from. Everything is locally roasted and bagged right here in Danville, which makes it feel extra special and fresh. What really sets them apart is the food: they partner with Royal Donut for amazing donuts and make incredible in-house items too. It’s become a staple in my daily routine—can’t start the day without it! The staff is incredibly friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. They remember my wife and me by name, along with our usual orders, which always makes us feel like regulars in the best way. Owners Ben and Dan (along with the whole team) are top-notch—they genuinely care about their customers and are happy to chat about different beans, roasts, or brewing tips. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by the downtown Champaign location. You won’t find better coffee or service around here. Highly recommend!
